Enforcers Post Blowout Victory On the Road
COVINGTON, KY - November 8, 2017 - After two months of practices in preparation and great anticipation, the Kentucky Enforcers tipped their season off Sunday against the American Basketball Association’s newest team, the Owensboro Colonels. The preseason #19-ranked Enforcers connected on 22 three-pointers on their way to a 125-89 dismantling of the Colonels. Greg Williams (Princeton High School) led the Enforcers with 29 points on 10 of 16 shooting and added five rebounds and six assists. Aaron Miller (Thomas More College) poured in 22 points to go along with five assists, David Mann (Mount St. Joseph University) added 20 points, including 5 of 8 from the three-point line, and Jeff Robinson (Xavier University) contributed 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocked shots.
Monday morning’s updated ABA Power Rankings saw the Enforcers climb five spots to #14 after their convincing win in the season opener.
The Enforcers open their home schedule this weekend against Team Network from Detroit, Michigan with Saturday’s tip at 7:00pm and Sunday’s at 3:00pm. These, and all Kentucky Enforcers home games will be played at Cincinnati Christian University, located at 2700 Glenway Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45204. Tickets can be purchased at the door (CASH ONLY) and run $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and children 5 and under are admitted free of charge.
The Kentucky Enforcers are proud to partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Toys for Tots will be at both home games this weekend offering a free ticket to any Enforcers home game for a donation of a new, unwrapped toy. The toys collected through the weekend will be distributed as Christmas gifts in December to less fortunate children in the community. -30-
